Continental, 20th century. Pair of gilt metal figural candlesticks with rounded bowl form candle cups at top above an undulating shaft composed of a grape vine with leaves and fruit clusters held in arms of Bacchanalian satyr figure (one male, the other female) with cloven feet above a circular base with beaded and grape vine motif borders on a cylindrical malachite base. Both unmarked. Overall approximate height 12.8", diameter of base 3.6".
