Chinese, first quarter 19th century. A Chinese Export porcelain jug or pitcher painted by hand in the Blue Willow pattern, the cylindrical pitcher having bulbous center with moulded spout and applied metal loop handle, the porcelain decorated in blue underglaze on tondo with a pagoda structure at center set within a landscape by the water with willow trees, boats, small figures, and foliage throughout, the pitcher mouth with a wide brocade border. Unmarked. Approximate height 8.125", width spout to handle 8". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
