American, 20th century (circa 1964), Robert Propst and George Nelson & Associates for Herman Miller "Perch Stool". A mid-century modern stool, the concave backrest and oval-shaped seat upholstered in peach-colored wool felt fabric, the backrest joined to the seat by squared metal support, raised on a black metal shaft joined by a chrome-plated steel circular footrest with four steel joints, all resting on four-legged spider base on four casters. Approximate height 41", width 27.75", depth 19".
