Massive Blenko #6138 Turquoise Floor Decanter

American, circa 1960s. Massive Blenko turquoise architectural floor decanter with stopper, pattern #6138, designed by Wayne Husted and produced at the Blenko Glass Company in Milton, West Virginia, during the 1960s. Decanter features a slightly flaring mouth over tapering slender neck and gradually expanding cylindrical body. Stopper is similar in form aside from ground down mouth and neck to 'rest' inside the decanter. Decanter retains original foil sticker "Blenko Handcraft" located on the bottom in pontil scar. Approximate height 35.75", height of stopper 11.5", diameter of base 7.75".
