Boehm. Common Tern (497). A large bisque porcelain sculpture depicting the sea bird with broad wings raised upward as he perches on a naturalistic tree trunk fragment and leans forward toward her hatchling as it emerges from its egg flanked by two other unbroken eggs, the base with pebbles and shells to a sand ground. Signed to base "Boehm" and with maker's mark and title of piece to underside. Approximately 14" tall, 13.25" wide, 11.5" deep. Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
