Boehm. Killdeer (473G) and Killdeer (473). A group of two porcelain bisque sculptures, one depicting a single bird with tail feathers extended high into air as breast leans toward ground, the bird with open mouth and surrounded by blue flowers on a naturalistic stone base; and one depicting an adult bird accompanied by two fledglings walking on ground amid small purple pendant flowers and tall green leafy stalks. Both bisques marked to underside with maker's mark and piece title, and "Boehm" to base. Single bird approximately 9.75" tall, 12.25" wide, 7.5" deep. Bird grouping 10.5" tall, 12.25" wide, 6" deep. Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
