French, 19th century. A walnut vitrine in the Directoire style comprising a grey marble top with ovolo front corners over a paneled frieze drawer with brass stringing and two brass pulls surmounting the large rectangular glass door flanked by fluted quarter-round columns and opening to the interior with two cylindrical display lights and adjustable glass shelves on metal brackets, mirrored back and base, the sides each with a frieze with a panel trimmed with brass stringing, each surmounting a rectangular glass display window, with flat fluted columns, all raised on four tapering turned feet. Approximate height 56" width 35", depth 15.5".
