After Demétre Haralamb Chiparus (Romanian, 1886-1947), "Woman with Parrot", patinated bronze sculpture, unsigned, brass title and artist plaque on base. Art Deco style figural sculpture after the original by Chiparus depicting a kneeling young woman in draped dress and stylized cap in profile with one leg gracefully extended forward feeding a parrot bird perched on the end of her open hand. Figures raised on oval grey marble plinth base. Overall approximate height 13.25", width 15.5", depth 6.5".
