CHICKERING SATINWOOD ART CASE CONCERT GRAND PIANO, SERIAL #83100, CIRCA 1895, L 8' 8":Pat. 1886. Inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Ex collection Dr Charles Vortriede, Burns Ave. Indian Village. 1895. date. According to Dr Vortriede, piano was purchased on the advice of Bernie Katz, a Detroit musician. Identical sister piano was purportedly in the Paris World's Fair of 1900.
