Continental, early 19th century. A palatial sized giltwood mirror, the large stepped glass within a frame decorated with elaborate neoclassical carving comprising a central pierced cartouche comprising molded c-scrolls with tassel motif hung with carved bellflower garlands framed by egg and dart molding, with Greek key molded corners, the sides decorated with entwined rope pattern continuing at the serpentine base rail with central carved flower, terminating in two Prince of Wales feather carved feet at right and left corners.
