Italian, 19th century. An elaborately designed giltwood mirror in the Italian Baroque style, surmounted by a large openwork pediment with upper leaf form finial flanked by c scrolls, with large pierced and carved cyma curved decorations to the right and left over a carved foliate flourish, all surmounting a carved rocaille arched shell, the glass decorated with giltwood banding conforming the the form of the frame with applied giltwood paterae within the margins, the mirror base with foliate carved cyma cyrves and central carved shel centered by a cabouchon. Approximate height 78", width 47", depth 3".
