A walnut commode in the French Provincial Directoire style, the molded top with canted corners surmounting the three-drawer facade, each drawer with three rows of laurel wreaths centered by brasses, flanked by fluted corner moldings headed by paterae, all raised on four squared tapered fluted legs. Approximate height 35.5", width 53.5", depth 26". Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Helen Ballard, Atlanta, Georgia.
