American, first half of 20th century. A large mahogany partner's desk with brown leather top with embossed trim over molded leaf carved edges surmounting the drawer facades with cockbeaded drawers, one side comprising a long central drawer flanked on each side by a short drawer over a small waist molding surmounting a top drawer over a large filing drawer with two facade panels to appear from the exterior as two separate drawers, the interiors of both filing drawers fitted with Pendaflex metal frames, the other partner's side with three dummy frieze drawers over side panels with coved corners, all drawers have Rococo style swan neck pulls and cartouche backplates, over the leaf carved base molding raised on four bracket feet. Approximate height 30.5", length 67", width 38.5".
