Gucci (Italian, founded 1921), circa late 1950s/ early 1960s. A mocha brown leather double handled flap front hand bag or purse of square form with gold hardware, the foldover front opening to reveal three interior compartments, two with further pockets, the body with accordion bottom expandable to fit contents, also accompanied with a cosmetic mirror enclosed in snapping leather envelope. Accompanied with original tan cloth dust bag printed to front "GUCCI". Marked to interior of flap front with gold embossed "Made in Italy by Gucci". Body approximately 9.5" square. Handle drop 5".
