Continental School, late 19th/early 20th century. “Boats on River at Sunset”, oil on artist’s board, unsigned. Horizontally aligned painting depicting a calming view of sailboats in the water near rocky coast, right back shoreline with architectural stone ruins, mountains at back with birds flying overhead at sunset. Framed approximately 24.25" x 30". Unframed approximately 18.5" x 24.5". Note: Proceeds of this sale benefit the non-profit Cathedral Thrift House in Atlanta, Georgia.
