STYLE OF CHARLES FRANCOIS LACROIX (FRENCH C. 1700-1782), OIL ON CANVAS, 18TH C., 21 3/8" X 39 7/8":Titled, "Fishers" on nameplate; depicts an 18th c. fishing harbor scene with fisherman and boats and with classical ruins on the right; unsigned; period gilt frame. Previously owned by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Frost of Warwick, Rhode Island. Purchased by the current owner in 1974.
