COUNT MARCOLINI PERIOD MEISSEN HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN STANDING NOBLEMAN, C. 1774 - 1814, H 26":W 10"; Dia 8 1/2". Floral pattern on suit with pink, blue and violet flowers. Man has cape over one shoulder. Count Marcolini (1774 - 1830) was manager at Meissen in the latter part of the 18th and the early 19th century and introduced the empire style there.
