Continental, probably French, 20th century. Pair of Louis XV style gilt metal table lamps, each with cast baluster form stem detailed with swirling acanthus, oak leaves and leafy gadrooned "C' scroll raised on a rocaille style scroll shaped base decorated with acanthus, stipple and diaper motif. Lamps are accompanied with ivory shades custom tailored for the House of Thebaut by Diane. Approximate height 32" (from base to top of harp), base diameter approximately 8.75".
