Italian, late 19th century (circa 1890), set of four matching Renaissance Revival or Neo-Renaissance stained walnut wood framed side chairs with leaf decoration on stark square back above red scrolled foliate tooled leather upholstered seats with later metal decorative tacking nail heads on a masculine frame with turned wood support between intersecting legs terminating on large lion's paw feet. Height 43.25", width 17", depth 22". Seat to floor 18.75".
