Diego Rivera (Mexican, 1886-1957). "Boy With Lilies" - c.1942, graphite on paper. Drawing depicts a young boy in a wide brimmed hat sitting on a box in his bare feet and leaning against a wood plank wall that is flanked by two arched openings. The boy clutches three long stemmed calla lilies in his hands while staring out at the viewer from wide set large eyes, with dark hair peeking out from below his hat. Pencil signed lower right "Diego Rivera". Accompanied by certificate of authenticity from Mexico, signed letter of gifting from the artist, and letter of provenance from a previous owner.
