GEORGE III STERLING SILVER COFFEE POT, PETER BATEMAN & WILLIAM BATEMAN, LONDON, 1808-1809, H 10 1/2":Hinged cover above ribbed body and scroll spout, raised on a rectangular base with rounded corners, gadrooned rim, and four ball-form feet. Wooden handle and finial. Hallmarks include lion passant, crowned leopard, date letter N, king's profile, and maker's mark PB/WB in a shield (see photo). Weighing 27.87 troy oz. total.
