AMERICAN AMETHYST AND COBALT GLASS VASE, COMPOTE, SPITTOON & BOWL, C. 1880-1910, FOUR:Includes one amethyst compote, H 3 3/8", Dia 8", C.1880, raised on a 2-mold seam circular base, (inner bowl is blistered); one blown cobalt round bowl, H 3", Dia 4 1/2", C.1880, with plain decoration (very small bubbles in glass); one cobalt spittoon, H 3 1/2", C.1900-1910, with funnel-form collar, and applied handle, (good condition); and one cobalt blue vase, H 7", Dia 3 3/8", C.1900-1910, with a metallic silver sheen patina, fluted collar, turned shaft, and a circular foot, (good condition). Ex. Collection of the Kingman Museum of Natural History, Battle Creek, MI. Donated to the museum by The Estate of Susan Stebbins Stark, Lansing, MI, Circa 1938.
