Jiang Tingxi, China/ Changshu, Jiangsu, 1669-1732. Qing Dynasty. Ink and watercolor on silk, inscribed lower left inside woven border with black calligraphic marks. Painting depicts a landscape setting with a large phoenix at center accompanied by a young phoenix at her side, surrounded by various birds including cranes at bottom and small white birds set in a large tree that overhangs the scene, with a setting sun upper right.. Approximate dimensions, framed 87.75" x 49", unframed 86.5" x 47.25".__
