A group of two miniature portraits comprising of one painted on ivory after a portrait hanging in the Louvre of Madame Louise de La Vallière, mistress of Louis XIV of France from 1661 to 1667, depicting the lady standing in a garden in a voluminous blue dress with a white drape and blue hat, inscribed on verso in Italian, likely with name of artist, framed 5. 25" x 3.75"; and small painting on porcelain of a young blonde beauty with blue eyes wearing a purple hooded cloak, mounted into a white metal pin, unmarked, 3 3/8" tall x 2 7/8" wide.
