VICTORIAN STERLING-HANDLED & IVORY PAGE CUTTER, LONDON, 1899-1900, L 15 7/8", ENCASED:The hollow sterling silver handle features a Tudor rose and bird perched on a flowering branch at each side, the tip of the handle flanked by a winged female bust. Hallmarks include lion passant, uncrowned leopard, and date letter d; rubbed two-character maker's mark possibly GH. Original leather case opening to brown silk and brown velvet lining, embossed in gold with a crown and "Prize Medals, The Goldsmiths & Silversmith Company Ltd., 112 Regent Street London".
