VIENNESE SILVER-GILT, ENAMEL & ROCK CRYSTAL CENTERPIECE BY HERMANN BOHM, LATE 19TH C. , H 14":Rock crystal goose wears a crown, having a removable cover centered by a figure of Diana the Huntress, hinged at the neck and tail, raised on a domed oval base; the crystal etched with a single mask, bowknot with pendant fruit, birds and insects among scrolls; the silver-gilt enameled in shades of cobalt blue, red, green, white and black; jeweled accents, seed pearl crown and reins. Stamped with an elongated hexagon enclosing a hound's head, number 3 (.800 silver), and letter A (Vienna), as well as HB in a rectangle (see photos). Overall dimensions H.14 1/2", L.15 1/4", W.6" at the base. Together with original custom-made leather case, hinged, opening to red velvet interior.
