AMERICAN PRESSED MILK GLASS COVERED DISHES, WITH ANIMAL FIGURAL COVERS, C. 1880-1885, SIX:Includes one covered dish, H 4 1/2", L 6 1/8", W 3 5/8", C.1880, with a reclining lion figural cover, and base reads "The British Lion", (crack to base side); one covered dish, H 3 7/8", L 5 3/8", W 3 3/4", C.1880, with a picket fence base, and a seated lamp cover, (good condition); one covered dish, H 3 7/8", L 6 1/8", D 3 1/2", C.1880, with a seated lamb cover, (good condition); one covered dish, H4 1/8", L 6 1/2", W 3", C.1880, with filigree designs about the base, and a seated quail cover, (good condition); one covered dish, H 4 1/4", L 5 1/4", D 4 1/8", C.1885, with a scalloped base, embossed "3" to cover underside, and a reclining cat cover, (good condition); and one covered dish, H 4 1/8", L 5 3/8", W 4 1/8", C.1880, with a scalloped base, seated dog cover, and embossed "McKee" to cover underside, (possible glue repair to cover underside rim).
