AMERICAN MOLDED MILK GLASS DISHES, BOWLS, AND PLATES, C. 1870-80, EIGHT:Includes one oblong pickle dish, L 9 5/8", W 7 1/8", C.1880, with a pierced circled edge, (few rim chips, one 1/2"); one round bowl, H 2", Dia 8", C.1880, with a beaded rim, and hobnail & vertical panel designs, (L 2" scratch to inset); one square compote, H 3 7/8", W 8"sq., C.1880, with a pierced border, and convex sides, (base is uneven); one centerpiece bowl, H 4 3/4", Dia 9 5/8", C.1870, with a serrated rim, and pierced border, (appears to be good); one small square plate, W 5" sq., C.1880, with a pierced s-scroll border, (good condition); one triangular plate, L 8 1/2", W 7 3/4", C.1880, with a pierced s-scroll border, (good condition); one four-mold compote, H 3 3/8", Dia 4 5/8", C.1880, with a serrated rim, and pressed "little red riding hood & wolf" designs about outer side, (good condition); and one covered dish, H 7", L 7 1/2", C.1880, with an "eagle" cover (yellow glass eyes) with outstretched wings protecting young, atop a pierced rim dish, (minor inner rim chip to cover).
