AMERICAN BLUE, RED, AND CLEAR GLASS OIL AND SPIRIT LAMPS, 1873-1880, LOT OF SEVEN, H 4 7/8"-10 1/2":Includes one blue glass spirit lamp with holder, H 7 1/8", raised on a gilt metal base, with ring handle and fixture on lamp, patented Oct. 28, 1873, (missing chimney); one blue glass "swan" oil lamp, H 10 1/2", with a blue "swan" base, gold colored fixture, and a clear chimney, patented Feb. 27, 1877; one clear glass spirit lamp, H 6", C. 1880, with decorative acanthus leaf patterns about round base, and metal fixture, (missing chimney); one clear glass spirit or oil lamp, H 4 7/8", C.1880, in the shape of a log cabin with handle, and metal fixture, (missing chimney); one blue glass oil lamp, H 7 5/8", C.1880, base decorated with stars and embossed "twinkle", gilt metal fixture, and a clear glass chimney; one red glass spirit lamp, H 6 5/8", C.1880, with peeling red color on a six-paneled base, metal fixture (tarnished), and a narrow clear glass chimney; and one cobalt blue molded glass 'coal' oil lamp, H 7 1/4", C.1880, with an attached handle, one side marked "little butter cup" in raised letters, a single-mold seam, clear chimney, and wick chamber (missing wick).
