Limited edition print by Mark English (American, b. 1933-) commissioned by the Kellogg Company of Booker T. Washington (American, 1856-1915). Lithograph depicting a bust potrait of Booker T. Washington in front of building (presumably part of Tuskegee Institute) with African-American figures in background under blue sky. Pencil numbered 1/250 beside artist's signature lower left. Titled lower right "BOOKER T. WASHINGTON" next to "1976 THE KELLOGG COMPANY". Framed approximately 28" x 24". Work accompanied with letter from the Kellogg Company dated November 4, `976 to Ms. Margaret Clifford, Atlanta, Georgia regarding the work and meeting her in Atlanta signed by Gary E. Costley, Vice President of Public Affairs; a color photograph by Hollins Photography, Atlanta, Georgia of Dr. Benjamin E. Mays, Dr. Lucius Foster (President of Tuskegee Institute), Mrs. Margaret Paul Clifford (Granddaughter of Mr. Booker T. Washington) and William E. La Mothe (President of Kellogg Co.) at the Bicentennial Party at the Fairmont Colony Square Hotel in 1976; as well as a newspaper clipping with the art print and individuals at the event.
