Whatman/Turkey Mill; 'Half Timbered Building', 11" x 11", executed after 1863, watermark J. Whatman/Turkey Mill 1863; 'Gothic Ruin in a Mountain Landscape', signed and dated indistinctly at lower left, with another drawing on the back; 'View at Tamworth', 5 5/8" x 10 1/4", inscribed at lower left Tamworth; 'Head of a Lady', 7" x 6 1/4". All are from the estate of the artist. Edward Seager was the first drawing master at the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland. He was the subject of a monographic exhibition at Hirschl & Adler Galleries, New York, in 1983.
