ANTIQUE ENGRAVING, 18" X 26", ST. IGNATIUS LOYOLA:Having a central image of St. Ignatius, in a canal, in the midst of a busy city scene. An elaborate border, around the central image, in forms of angels, mythological figures (Neptune?) and architecture. Along the top margin is text: "S. Ignatius Loyola S.I. Fund: ut impuros iuvenis ardores extingueret, Congelato se flunini immersit". Framed. Possibly 18th c.
