English, 19th century. Sheraton mahogany and satinwood tea caddy in the form of a diminutive serpentine knife box with slanted hinged top inlaid with conch shell in oval medallion. Ivory escutcheon on front, interior with lid with round knob pull. Approximate height 6.5", width 4", depth 5.2".
