RICHARD JERZY (MI/AMER. 1944-2001), CONTÉ AND MIXED MEDIA, 18" X 12", SEMI-NUDE SEATED FEMALE:Signed lower left within the image. Conté and mixed media. Jerzy grew up on Detroit's east side and developed an interest in painting as a teen-ager. He attended Detroit's Center for Creative Studies. The fine arts institution later hired him as a painting professor, a position he held for about 30 years.
