Hinged top lifts to reveal metal Imperial Symphonion music player surrounded by mahogany wood with pierced scrolled foliate decoration (speakers). Metal music player marked "16163" above "SYMPHONION MFG. CO. N.Y." Interior with additional cream-colored label with Imperial Symphonion patent information. Black and white "Imperial Symphonion" advertising lithograph with musical classically stylized children on interior of hinged lid. Surface also with paper Imperial Symphonion label with harp. Edge of bottom with metal label from "Rudolph Wurlitzer Co., Musical Instruments, Cincinnati, O (Ohio), U.S.A." Symphonion music box accompanied with fourteen (14) original circular metal Symphonion discs. Discs include "Whisper Your Mother's Name", "Her Name is Rose", "Over the Waves", "A Hot Meeting", "I Dreamt, I Dwelt" , "Yale Two Step", "A Hot Time In the Old Town", "Silent Night, Holy Night", "Mikado Waltz", "Nearer, My God to Thee" and more.
