CHARLES MARTIN, LIMOGES, FRENCH PORCELAIN LOBSTER SERVICE FOR TEN WITH PLATTER, C. 1915, DIA 9 3/4":Including 10 plates, Dia.9 3/4", and 1 platter, L.17"; the elongated platter with pierced handles and each plate centered by a bright red lobster bordered by fired gold underwater foliage, and fired gold rim. Stamped in green at the underside with a bird flanked by two banners, "Martin China/Limoges France", and in blue with a triangle enclosing a monogram and bordered by "Limoges France Décor" (see photo). Eleven pieces total.
