N.Y., Chicago, San Francisco"; team name, "Detroit Stock Exchange" across chest of shirts; 3 pair of pants, 3 pair of dark blue knee socks and one pair of sliding pads, (which were used inside pants to protect legs when sliding into base), inscribed D & M "Max G. Carey No Strawberry" brand printed inside of pads; also 1 striped uniform consisting of 1 shirt and 1 pair of pants, no team name on shirt; tag inside striped shirt inscribed, "J.M. Waterston, Detroit, 427 Woodward Ave. Original owner of uniforms, Mr. Arthur Distler, played for the Detroit Stock exchange team in the minor leagues from 1925 to 1935.
