AMERICAN HEPPLEWHITE MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD WITH SATINWOOD INLAY, C. 1790-1810, H CA. 43", W 72", D 28":H 43 1/2"; satinwood string and blind reserve inlay; two tier top; bottom section having 3 drawers across with larger drawers below on the curved ends; recessed top section having 2 sliding doors; having brass loose ring pulls; the whole raised on tapered square tapered legs with spade feet. Provenance: sold at Christies, NYC in 2002; deacessioned by the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
