ATTRIBUTED TO MATTHEW HARRIS JOUETT (AMERICAN 1788-1827), OIL ON CANVAS, 19TH C. , 29 3/4" X 24 3/4":Unsigned portrait. In antique gold leaf wooden frame. Attribution made by Alonzo Lansford, New Orleans, LA, former Director of the Delgado Museum of Art, who had sold the painting in 1964. Paintings from Mr. Lansford's collection were included in the October 2004 Neal Auction Co. auction.
