ITALIAN PORCELAIN & BRONZE WINE COOLER, H 16", L 24", D 14 1/2" ORIGINAL FOR COUNT OF URBANO:Modeled from an original for the Count of Urbano. Circa 1980. Both interior and exterior include a white field with a pattern including: tree limbs; fruit; people (entertainers); and animals (leopards, monkeys, and a lion) with porcelain base having blue and green striations. Bronze frame design includes: horses, with foliage in place of hooves, at either side; semi-nude female figures at either side of the base, acting as supports, with the lower portion of their body as foliage; and a figure with a dog's (?) face, wings and a paw for a body (acting as the feet of the vessel). Item is a copy of a wine cooler in the Italian museum made for Count of Urbano.
