METTLACH ONE LITER STONEWARE & PEWTER STEIN, #1892, 1888, H 9", DIA 4":Having beige ground with floral designs and two dark blue bands with floral designs around circumference all surmounted by a pewter mountings. The underside is impressed with the Mettlach trademark c. 1885- 1930, "GEGEN NACHBILDUNG GESCHÜTZT", the decorator number "34", the form number "1892", the year "88" and has the painter's number of "26" in gold along with the size number of "R".
