English, 18th century. Georgian yew wood chest on chest, the upper case with projecting cornice over 2 short and 5 long graduated drawers flanked to each side by fluted and chamfered lamb's tongue corners, the case with two short over one long deep drawer inlaid with shell. All drawers cross banded. The five long drawers on uppercase maintaining locking mechanisms. The whole raised on front ogee bracket feet. Height 76.25", width 41.75", depth 21".
