RUSSIAN SILVER OPEN SALTS, MOSCOW, 19TH CENTURY, TWO, H 1 1/2", DIA 1 3/4" & 2 1/2":Each of round, bombe shape with etched floral motifs and raised on three bun-form feet; one with unknown assayer's mark above date 1889, "84" and St. George, and another unidentified mark (see photo), H.1 1/4", Dia.1 3/4"; the other salt having a partially rubbed assayer's mark, probably for Viktor Savinkov, above a rubbed date, possibly 1869, as well as "84", and St. George (see photo), H.1 1/2", Dia.2 1/2". Weighing 0.75 troy oz. and 1.36 troy oz., respectively.
