ENGLISH OAK TANTALUS FITTED WITH THREE DECANTERS, 19TH CENTURY, H 13", W 13":Including 3 cut glass decanters with round stoppers and one box/caddy, with lock and key. Box, divided into 3 compartments is lined with removable velvet squares, and has a velvet lined bottom. The front of the box has a plaque engraved with "Presented to Mr. W. Johnson by his fellow assistant S. Asa token of Regard &(?) Esteem August 1892". EX COLLECTION: James and Caroline Duff, Grosse Pointe.
