Female figure in front, likely distraught from letters and being comforted by her friend. Signed at upper middle right " HARRY ROSELAND" and also with artist name and title on metal plaque on frame. Stretcher with attached label from "M.A. Newhouse & Son, Art Importers, 4398 Olive Street, Saint Louis, Missouri." Unframed 20 inches x 27 inches. Framed 26.5 inches x 33.5 inches.
