French, Late 19th century. French wood and gilt bronze mounted single drawer desk stand, the rectangular top mounted to each side with pierced, hinged bookends headed with masks and braced with flambeau finial covered inkwells decorated with lion mask ring pulls, the single drawer opening to an interior fitted with compartments and a cylindrical, hinged candleholder to each side. The sides mounted with gilt bronze handles decorated with anthemion. Height with raised ends 10.4", width 20.5", depth 6.75".
