English, early 19th century. English oak longcase clock having a brass ball-and-spire finial with swan-neck pediment and brass terminals, over a dentil molded cornice, the hood with Corinthian columns with cast capitals centered a glazed door opening to the 11-inch square silvered dial with Arabic and Roman numerals, recessed date aperture and decorated subsidiary seconds, decorative steel blue pierced hands and engraved T Wood, Tetbury, all within gilt floral corner spandrels. The trunk with fluted and canted corners with arched door concealing the twin weights and pendulum, raised on a plain plinth base. Approximate height 91", width 20", depth 11".
