Maritime painting depicting rough waters with a large ship at left foreground, white capped waves and glaciers at right with seagull flying low at waters edge. Two labels on verso--one with "Shackleton's "Endurance" Weddell Sea", the other with "George R. Cummings 19 Blackford Hill View Edinburgh EH93HD". Framed approximately 35.25" x 57.25".
