American, 19th century. Group of three assorted personal items comprising of a mourning pin of rectangular form with C scroll gilt metal surround containing gilt monogrammed lettering for past loved one border surrounding woven hair, verso engraved "a much beloved Husband who died 6th Nov. 1837 aged 33"; a pair of 14k yellow gold lorgnettes with case decorated with scrolled foliate motif in Art Nouveau manner, marked "14K" on end of clasp, collapsible eyeglasses or lenses within; and an unmarked lorgnette with simplified ornament on circular hoop with leaf tips. Mourning pin or brooch measures approximately 1.25" x 1.125". Art Nouveau foliate decorated lorgnette approximate length 5.75". Other pair of lorgnettes (closed) approximately 3".
