American, late 19th century. Large Victorian blue satin glass to opaque white brides bowl or fruit bowl, the deeply undulating and folded rim with crimped edge, melon body with ribbed interior decorated with polychrome enamel alternating with orange-yellow C-scrolls, leafy tendrils and cartouche with violet flowers with brown sprigs. The interior base beaded and centered with enameled cartouche. The exterior with polished pontil. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 6.25", diameter 14.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
